Hi there!
I've been lookiong lately for a Clorine test kit, but only ones I get to find in my area or those designed for swimming pools.

I don't recall the scale used, but I am pretty sure the amount of Cl to be found in tap water or aquarium water will be a LOT lower than in a swimming pool.

Is a pool Cl test useful for fishkeeping? What cholrine concentration level am I likely going to find in tap water?

Not sure (it will probably vary from location to location). I think doc fishwell makes a hobbiest test kit for chlorine. Just curious, why do you need one?

I've actually read that you can do up to a 30% water change with chlorinated water with no ill effect to the fish (i never would, but supposedly you can). This was in a book Ad Koning called "Enjoying Cichlids"

I just discovered that my water has no chloramines as I suspected, so I'd like to age my weater instead of adding chemichals. With a test kit, I can be sure it's doing fine.

You could always call your water company and ask.

Not here. Nobody knows. Also, I wanted to check the chlorine elvel after aging and aireation.
