measuring out prime

Get a syringe, take off the needle, pour some of the prime into the cap and suck into the syringe, there are measurements on the side so you'll know for sure how much you're using.

You can usually just eye it, a little more or little less prime won't hurt your fish.

I just use my API vial with 1mil marks to dose my tanks.

I put on a squirt cap from some other product and just squeeze some in...haven't a clue how much...some tanks get 2 or 3 squirts...

After learning the measurements (from one of the above mentioned ways) and a few water changes, you will have a pretty accurate idea on how much per tank.

go to petsmart and buy the 1.7 fl. oz/ 50ml bottle and keep it after empty and refill with larger one, i use the little one for my 2,5,10,15,20,gallons tanks and the cap for my 30,46,90. gallon, the little bottle goes by drops 2 drops per gallon,. easy for my 46 i use the full cap and for my 30 i use little over half cap and for 90 i use 2caps, a little extra wont hurt except for $. take a cap and put drops for appropriate tanks in and then get empty syringe and fill out of the measured amt and note the measurement on syringe and then write down for future use..so you can faster dose the tanks later on.. got it?

I don't really measure it out, 2 cap fulls for the 80 and 45, { from a 250 ml bottle } done........:)

I add it to the bucket of new water, rather than treating the whole tank. I usually just pour some into the cap then dribble a few drops into the bucket before each fill of new water. So I guess I basically just eyeball it.
