She's actually slimmed down a bit since I removed the 6 older sids from my discus tank and put them together with the young herd. The young ones are even more active and happy now with the addition of the older sids. Although the sids were not afraid of the discus, the presence of the discus appears to have swayed them to stay in the plants more and swim less than they are now. It's a very busy sid tank. I've also discovered that they seem to prefer lots of driftwood configurations to cave in and explore in, and rest on, so I've removed most of the rocks that I thought they would like. And although my young sids won't look twice at flake food, the 6 that were in my discus tank were exellent clean ups for flake between the plants, better than the cories! So now I've got to be a little more cautious on dry foods in the discus tank.
