Not a cana. Looks like a haustrum. Are the eyes droopy or erect? The shell structure on the last pic makes me think it's a Pomacea haustrum. Has it laid any eggs before? If so, what was the color of the eggs?
lol its simple, he pigs on plants he moves in with the dang digging pleco lol.
Rach says hes a cana, i have seent he eggs layed from the tank of the friend i had him from and there were red eggs, i assume they were from this one and the other she had. I have not had hm all that long but he seems quite content with the food supplied and the riccia to munch on anything else.. and i do have other plant eaters in the tank too... namely my sulawesi snails...
im well impressed that theres 3 double pages dedicated to the sulawesi snails in the march edition of practical fishkeeping
