Couldn't get picture of algae blenny cos he shot straight in amongst rock as soon as I let him go! Did get a couple of the clowns though, also 2 of new hermit crabs, does anyone know proper name for blue banded one as I can't find it in my books?
The new clown is the bottom one, the existing clown, Krusty, seemed really pleased to see a new tank mate. She has followed the new one every where but has not chased it, has given it the odd little nudge but nothing that looks aggresive.
Hopefully the Benny the blenny will come out at some point and I'll get a quick pic!
Just need a name for the new clown - am I mad? lol

looks good.

nah, you're not mad. Just a female. Women insist on naming any and all animals they have. even fish. hehe. its like a trait from birth or something. my wife names everything Gilbert. ugh.

Nice pictures!

And I name some of my fish...:D

ever been a girl before? jk

WOW! Benny the blenny is truely awesome! He came out and started munching on the algae on the rock! I got a video clip on digital camera but I can't attach it to message :-(
The clowns have had a little set to where they kept sort of shuddering at each other? then krusty grabbed hold of the new ones fin and wouldn't let go but now they are swimming around the tank together quite happily. Krusty is getting on better with this one than either of the others.
I thought I'd post a picture of spike the turbo snail too - guess where it got it's name! lol
Any id's on the blue/ black legged crab?

blenny looks good!!!

With the clowns, one needs to establish dominance, then they get along great, I think. The dominant one will eventually be the female, and the larger of the two.

Mine went through the same thing. The aggression lasted about a day and now they are rarely apart.

They do seem to have settled down now, Krusty is slightly bigger than the new one so it should work out ok I hope! They are all spending more time together than she did with either of the other 2 and this new one is swimming around with her but the others just stayed in the corner.:dance2:

Maybe the others weren't the same type of clown. I mean, LFS the world around are often guilty of just telling customers what they want to hear, and often times clowns of different varieties can look the same to people, but not to each other.

Anyway, that's awesome!

My only fish casualty I've had yet was my blenny. He was one of my first fish, and I don't think my tank had enough food for him. Poor lil fella.
