hi,

i bought frozen bloodworms then accidently left them out over night. then i refroze them. are they still okay to use as food? :dance

Depends on how long is overnight. And how cool or cold room was.
IMO--If in doubt--throw it out.

i think the main concern is what grew on it during the night, you dont know what kinds of bacteria grew on it, and if you introduce it to your aquarium, hope the fish can fight it off :read:

Unless they in cube form.

they were in cubes sealed in a packet.

i would say the room was probably slightly colder than room temp. they all completely melted though (they are smallish cubes so wouldnt have taken much)

ive seen places online selling frozen ones so im guessing by the time they reach someone they have been unfrozen and you are supposed to re freeze them?

i have put them back int he freezer though incase it turns out i can re use them!

:)

Throw them away. They were worth about...$4, probably? Not even close to being worth the risks.

Frozen food stays frozen, and arrives frozen, much like when you order Omaha Steaks (you wouldn't want meat defrosting in transit to your house, eh?). Dry ice and an insulated shipping container make it a simple preposition.

IMO--It is Ok to reuse.
