Melted

I always think I need something when I'm grocery shopping that I've already bought. At one time I had 5 packages of garlic powder in the cupboard. Right now I have 3 jars of yeast, besides the open one in the fridge. (I use 1/8 tsp of yeast about once or twice a week for feeding my white worms. I think the 3-1/2 jars should last me a few decades.)

Ok...on a more sober note.........

My mom had instances like what Kveeti mentioned last.....that's what brought this to mind for me....she would buy batteries....all the time....and other things, because she always felt like she needed them when she went to the store and could never remember that she bought them the last time. We all laughed it off as a "Mom" thing and didn't take it too serious. She also started sleeping alot...she passed if off as her "internal" clock being all out of sorts because she was up at night doing things alot....so she said.

Well, it turned out she had liver disease....and ammonia had been building up in her body which was throwing her brain all out of whack.....she also found out she had hemochromatosis, which is an iron overload disease...your body can't get rid of iron so it builds up in the blood...which will also do damage to your liver.

By the time anyone found out all this....her liver was only functioning at 30%.....we lost her 2 summers ago. :(

It's fun to joke around about these things, but if it's way out of the ordinary, you better go check it out.......just to be on the safe side.....
