Merry Christmas, You're all fired...

Deb, thats a lot of pancakes to eat, seems like they woule get kinda dry before I got them all down, Might need some syrup , or whipped cream to go with that!!,

And Cat, that is one sexy hot avitar you have there... Makes me kinda thirsty, and crave donuts at the same time...

I was a purchaser for a large electrical switchgear manufacturer, i dealt with all the procurement of goods, and inventory control...

I've given up a few times over now. Then after a while after swearing I'll never re- enter the outside work force, I start "jobbing" again.
Sometimes all I need is a good meal, have the place nice and clean, be well rested, fed /binged, relaxed, indulged in something fun and mind numbing and suddenly I start wanting to start the process over again. Sure sometimes I slip inbetween or the "busies" happen....I get back up again and go for the next job. Sometimes I'm running so fast to be productive that I end up with a headache or am too tired to move or start oversleeping badly ( I call it forced vacation).... I must say I don't fight for a good job as much as when I was in collage...I felt more "entitled" then being highly educated. OF course when you are in college you just don't have have as much time/energy to apply for multiple jobs until you get one and it's hard to find one that'll accommodate your classes, homework and test studies. I kept lowering my standards based on the economy, until I was going for high school education type jobs because I didn't have the patience anymore for the long processes. Actually I came to hate applying to jobs on a very deep level. It makes me physically sick. I explain it like some people feel ill writing a school test...Well the economy has been far harder then any schoolwork or test or final, so writing a job appy makes me feel ill.

I've lost track of the number of jobs I've had this year. I know how it is I suppose that's all that's left I can say.

When I was 18 I was the shipping/receiving manager for an automotive OEM supplier. I was making HUGE money for a kid.. I made more than My mom or my dad at the time. I dropped out of college because I thought that was going to be my "career" job. After the company cut back, and reduced staff, I went on to another automotive supplier where I made a little less.. worked there for 5 more years, and finally moved into a better position with another automotive supplier Tier 1...Made really good money here, had it all going for me now, and then a year later, they downsized... got a new job where make about 40% of what I used to make, and times are really tough. and Now, that job is about to come to an end..

So I have no college degrees...
Just a HS diploma..

Its time to go for broke, and lay it all out there.
My next job I will be working for myself. If this works I shouldnt have any money woes in the future, and should be having a great time...
Some of you know what I am planning...

I cant really talk about it here though.
I'll keep you all posted, but if you see that I am installing my new 1,000 gallon tank in my new home, you'll know I finally made it!

I'm rooting for you!

I am also trying to go into business for myself.

Just so you don't feel left out....

Well good luck on that Zig. Every home based business venture I've ever found has had a rediculous startup investment for VERY little garaunteed return, and the vast majority involved sales at SOME level. I've always done well at sales as compared to people in the same area/field, but the catch has always been sellin the right thing at the right time to the right people for the right price. If you can find the ballance in all that, you're golden.
