Hey guys, I'm hoping someone will respond soon, but I'm wondering what you guys think about Metal Halide temperatures. I am looking at getting a new 150 Watt bulb and I was wondering whether I should get a 10,000K or 14,000K bulb. Thanks for the help.

that depends on your preference... a 20000K will give you more colors in yoru coral but will have less PAR than a 10000K. the inverse is also true.
i personaly like the more blue, but before we decide on a color, what brand of bulb is this and on what ballast (those do made a difference for color even if the bulbs are rated as the same K) and also what are you looking to keep in what size tank (how deep?). if you want sps all over the place, a 20000K proably wouldnt be the best bet.
are you using any actinics for supplimation?
