Can somebody please tell me if the water will become clear by itself after treating with methylene blue or will I have to change the water completely?

just a few things. The blue will dissipate over time if routine water changes are kept up. Do take note however that there are some large rocks, possibly gravel, sometimes silicone and other porous objects that may be permanently stained.

usin it cuz the fish were flickin themselves off the stones, it seems to have worked. My bf is in the process of changing about half the water at the mo, it still looks pretty blue so we'l try get a new filter insert.
