Hey everyone... I have a problem with my 3 discus's. About a week back my one discus started to poop weird, it was long, milky white, and stringy. So i looked around on the net for a while and found its most likely parasites. So i want to get this metronidazole stuff. So my question is what would this stuff do to my plants and snails. thanks for your help.

Metronidazole works best when fed to the fish if he is still eating. I've never had any problem with plants or snails when feeding the medicine laced food.

I just did a Metronidazole treatment. I still have all of my Olive Nerites and Shrimp running about, so they are fine. My plants were unaffected.
