Water parameters are as follows:
Ammonia= 0
NitrIte= 0
NitrAte= 5
pH= 7.2-7.4
Kh= 13
Gh= 20
Temp= 78-80 (this is a bit higher than usual, usually it's 76-78)
Tank has been established for around 3 months. I originally started with 6 tiger barbs, 2 of each color variety. They seemed fine except for one or two with recurrent swim bladder issues I could never correct. That seems to have gone away now. About 3 weeks ago I added the remaining 6 barbs after a 2 week quarantine period. Two weeks ago I had the first barb die, the next week the second one, and now I've got another that looks to be on it's way. All the barbs are probably 1.5" or under, a couple might be pushing 2". The ones that have died so far and this newest ailing one are on the smaller side. Some of the larger ones get to chasing the others but there hasn't been any full blown picking on in the group. At first I thought it was psychological but I'm not so sure now.
