Metronidazole

Where can I get this medication "Metronidazole "? Do I need a vet to prescribe this?

Where are you? In the US and Canada you can buy it from Big Als, or perhaps a fish store (I know only a couple here out of all of them do carry it).

It is also an ingredient in one of the Aquarium Pharmaceutical meds, but I'm not sure which one. I think it's the "General Cure" that contains the metro, and this is available at some pet/fish stores. I got mine from Pet Supermarket.
