MFK... who's a dual member?

well this one is an easy one

i am a member on both sites and I spend most of my personal thread posting time on mfk for a few reasons

a)here on ac many people make judgements based on what they think without information on what or why a person is doing what they do ie: they flame people without due cause
for example people railed on me for rehoming 2 pacu and 3 iri sharks that came with used tank purchases yet the very same fish are now swimming in a 300g tank with a soon to arrive 420g, but I suppose I should have just left the pacu in the 33g the other in the 55g and I should have left the 3 iri sharks in the 55g where they would have been so much better off

b)on mfk people tend to be more mature and interested in the end destination of what you are doing and why you are doing it

yet mfk dont have the chat option, thats one reason i do come here on ac as well I like to post thoughts on threads here

but in reality I AM A MFKER AT HEART

Oh but who said I had left ac I decided that I would cease being a part here to give people the chance to feel justified in their thoughts and opinions. Yet, we all know the saying about opinions, don't we now!!!!!

Yet in the right time I would resurface and let the truth of who and what I am speak for itself, has nothing to do with either place being the place for me, but, more so allowing motor mouths to run till the gas supply was gone :silly:

AC is the best site around for general aquaria knowledge, and it seems most here have a "set" and for the most part conservative way of stocking, and keeping aquariums and fish in general. MFK has some great info on big and primative fish, and for the most part very knowledgable members who seem to be a little more liberal when it come to stocking etc. You have way less of a chance of running into an obnoxious teenager here on AC who seems to get pleasure at trolling threads.

Chris, apologies. I meant to reply to your post in particluar sooner, but you are not the only one to feel this way. I agree that in general, AC is more conservative in regards to care and as you mention, typically more mature in membership. MFk doe have some outstanding info. sections, but I can only take so many, "WhErE Do I GeT PiRaNhAs?????" threads :evil_lol:
 
member of both sites,they are both great sites...
 
member of both, both sites are excellent in their format, and i resent that remark about goldfish, they are not feeders.....

i bought my kids a fish tank one time with various fish and a black moor and the moor ate all the smaller fish
