MH Lighting...

I'm trying to find an affordable option for lighting my tank. I want to do some SPS eventually in my 28 gal so I know I need to go eithe MH or possible ind. refl T5s. I found this fixture:

Do you think that this would be enough light for clams/sps? I saw someone post a link for a new fixture by Current that the Nova Extreme Pro, individually reflected T5s, but I have seen them anywhere or any pricing. Any advice?

Yes, I think it would be plenty. That is the place I shop at locally(used to work there too). You may want to check out Premium Aquatics, they have a lot of different brands and more of a selection, IMO. Pricing is not bad either. Is this going to be an open top or canopy? If a canopy, you may want to look at retrofit kits or piecing it together yourself, then you get exactly what you want.

I agree, the Sunpod is a decent setup but you might be able to upgrade a bit more and for less if you have the ability to use a retrofit in a canopy.
