Micron filtration water or distilled water vrs, R.O.?

what are the differences between them?
will micron filtration and distilled work for your tank?
and will one of the filters that u attach to a facet work, what kind of filtration do those use?

As a recent convert, I can say that RO/DI is the ticket. I have a RO/DI unit to filter my water for water changes. My tank has never looked better. The RO/DI that I have (Barracuda) comes with a faucet adaptor, but I tap mine off of the washer water.

how much did ur unit cost?

how many stage RO/DI filters is adaquate?
most have 2-6 that i've seen? is two effecent enough?
