Hey, i need some big leaf low light plants that could be potted.

I have atleast 50watts of lighting over a 30gal tank.

I was thinking of "Wendtiis" Since they spread out rather then grow tall like amazons. I just want to fill the bottom with plants for my catfish and corys to swim around.

I also heard wendtiis would offten get some type of "illness" causing the plants to rot slowly. Would getting a diffrent one, such as bronze, reds, or greens prevent this? Or anything elsei can do to prevent this? I was hoping i can mix all the colors up.

Any more plant suggestions would be great!

Thanks

Good choice - they also like a decent current. Leaves tend to "melt" into gooey stuff when they're not happy. This is not a slow process. It's best to promptly remove nay leaves that start to melt. Sometimes, they'll all melt. If you "fix" whatever problem they had, you'll usually get fresh growth following a melt.
