Midas Cichlids paired up.

I have two midas cichlids that just paired up this early morning. I was just wondering how long it takes before the female lays eggs.

Usually in a few days, they will start laying eggs. Don't anticipate that too much. During this period, expect them to break into violent fights. It's normal for that to happen.

Thanks Lupin. That info means a lot to me because I've wanted cichlid babies for a while now.
