Do any of you fine folks have experience or opinions on the Milwuakee sms122 Ph controller or their regulator? I'm thinking of ordering a combo pack with the above mentioned plus, a bubble counter and check valve for 202.00. Is that a good deal?

most will say the ph controller isnt needed.. so you can save yourself $112 and just get the regulator on ebay for $90
I use the Milwaukee controller/regulator combo and I like it. If i had to do it again would I get the controller? Hard to say... I think timers work as well as any other method of control in most situations. I do like it though!
I don't think you need a controller. Just get a good drop checker and make small adjustments on the amount of CO2 yourself.
You also may want to read about CO2 tank dump. You can have real issues with a controller if you are away and the CO2 tank starts running out. The CO2 starts going, the controller tries to boost, keeps adding more CO2, etc. Can be fatal if you are not careful.
