Well, I was happy with my 3 set-ups, Bolivian Rams, Cockatoos and Dwarf Puffers.

I am also keeping a tank at work with the rejected fish that I bought, one being a male cockatoo. Before Christmas, I went to get a female cockatoo for the lone male at school. Should not have done that. The store I went to had red pelvicachromis taeniatus. I do not have room for that, my tanks are full, just walk away from the fish.

To keep it short, the Christmas has not been nice the the school tank, and one of the casuality was the male cockatoo.

Since I have a huge heart, I decided to part with my cockatoos, ship them to work. And of course...

:)

I phoned the store, they still had some mini-kribs. I got 2 tiny little cuties, the biggest of the lot, but still pretty small, barely the size of the pencilfish they are sharing the tank with.

I plan to do the same routine for the WC, 2wice a week, I'll clean the gravel every week. For feeding, I have a rotation with these: TetraCichlid mini granules, Hickari floating cichlid granules (I crush them), Tertramin pro crisps, TetraColor both granules and flakes and Nutrafinmax spirulina flakes. I'll give a little bit of frozen food, one day shrimps, one day bloodworms.

So in the 15 gal, the mini-krib pair, 7 pencilfish, 6 yamato shrimps, 4 tiny ghost shrimps and a ramshorn, that should produce a lot of babysnail snackfood for the kribs.

Day 3, they are swimming together, he follows her, pokes her gently on the belly, she vibrates and arches...

I'm in love again.

Wish me luck!

PS: I pledge to not use the forum like blog again like I did the last time.

mini-kribs? I haven't heard of the before... do you have a picture of them, if you don't mind? I'd like to get a glimpse of what they look like.

WTH???

Ruben, Mini-Kribs is just the name of this topic. The proper name is in my original post.

I'll be glad to get some links, info, or any nice comment for that matter.

Thanks in advance.
