mini predtors for a 30 gallon

The thing to keep in mind with butterfly fish is that they are a surface predator--they mostly eat insects.

Wood isn't a great lid for aquariums. It gets wet and warps, and blocks the light.

Yes I understand they eat bugs and that stuff but do they even need light I will make my own lid for it if it need a light I will put one on it

They need a day and night cycle, with the light overhead. Bright light isn't required, but if the only light they get is coming from the sides of the tank, it will confuse them and negatively impact how they swim and eat. Fish orient themselves based on the light source.

ok, I can do that and I was thinking about salt water. I thought and I am willing to go with a saltwater fish because an I got another 30 gallons and I would really like a lionfish like dendrochirus zebra I also liked the snowflake eel and it would be awesome to have both and are there any coral you recommend but I don't know how much they are. (i did the rest of the googling to find out the rest I need to know about butterfly fish).
