Minimum tank size for Jullie + Shelly

Yeah Transcriptus looks cooler than Ornatus. :)

Talking about blue fin - do all of these species have that when they are mature or is that specific to some parts of the lake?

I have ornatus, transcriptus, and dickfieldi and they are great, check out this tank its a 33gal long same footprint as a 55gal just not as tall as a 55gal like it was cut in half it also has the middle brace so you can place 2 24" glass lids and a 48" light fixture its what i am going to with next..

But bare min would be the 20gal long, i would do a pair of transcript's and multi's, occies would be my second choice..

Do you see any behavioral differences (aggression) between Ornatus, Transcriptus and Dickfeldi?

Also, what camera are you using when you are taking those pictures? By the way, nice photos. :)

Yeah i see some aggression issues but its expected with these guys my transcript's are the meanest..

I have a Nikon D40 professional grade camera with two different lenses i have an 55x18mm lens and i also have the 200x55mm lens i can shoot a photo from across the house with my bigger lens..

Thanks buddy..

75 high....discus.....any other use may be criminal in nature. visitors to your fish room understand.

Lol, you're trying to convince the wrong people in this forum. Not many would give up their Tangs for discus. I'd love to do a planted Discus tank someday, but for my first 75 I had to go with the beloved Tangs.

:banhim::banhim::banhim: Tangs rule!!!!!!!!!! :headbang2::headbang2::headbang2:

hehehe..
