This lovely gal is soon to be my sister's fish, so I better post her now while I can still take credit.

Presenting ... Button Louise!



Proud of her Thai ancestry but calling Tennessee home, Button is committed to world peace and fishless cycling. Her favorite food is anything she can fit in her mouth. Her many talents include wiggling for food, blowing bubbles, napping on plants ... and making me laugh.

Oh, Red Sonja is lovely - Almost a match in colors with Alpha? Love the mixed fin colors... Her name is perfect!

Yes, please post more pics of Satin! I had a solid blue male once, they look like rich velvet (or satin!).

:clap: Thanks fishycat!! I love that you totally get the names!!! I definately did name Satin that way becauSe of they satiny/velvety sheen she has from being all blue.. in person there is soo much depth to the colour! I'l snap a better pic today - if she'll pose for me!!

And yep, Red Sonja IS a lot like my Alpha, you noticed!! ^_^ I guess I tend to be kind of partial to aqua or red bettas - and when I saw her with a mix of both, I fell in love!! She's also a pretty cool fishy, her best friend is a little rescue guppy - she likes to mimic him she he is playing with his reflection in the glass! So funny!


H20Gal - You really made me laught about Button Louise! Gosh she sounds like a winner, world peace and all! And such a lovely back tail.. it's perfectly shaped, WOW!

bio_lover - She's lovely!! I am so partial to aqua colouring in fishies, and she's got suuch pretty fins!

Thanks! Button poses like a supermodel all day long. Very easy to photograph ... unlike my other betta girl, who is usually just a blur. Still trying to get some halfway decent shots of that one. :/

I'll second the applause for bio_lover's fabulous gal. Extraordinary coloring.

And you're right: All Miss Bettas deserve the title!

Presenting: Tangerine, um Tallulah, um Isadora ... I love her, but I don't know her name yet. She's also never still, which makes photographing her a challenge.

Even with my bad photography and all those water spots, she's a pretty girl ... and always decked out in evening wear!
