Missing Pleco

I have a 9 inch common pleco, but I cannot find it, odd I know

Have they been known to bury themselves or escape?

I swear I am not blind, I just rearranged my whole tank, it is cloudy at the moment, so its not the easiest to see, but honestly

One thing I've learned about plecs, they are very adept at hiding. Just wait a day or two. And if your really worried about it, watch your ammonia.

I know it's a stupid question but I have to ask... have you checked "behind" the tank?

Are there any tunnels or holes in decor he could burrow himself into? You'd be amazed at the small spaces they can squeeze into.

Found Him, and yes I had looked behind the tank

Pretty sure he got himself stuck digging under some drift wood, since he is practically black and so is the gravel made himself almost impossible to see. So I dug him out.
