Okay,
these are the fish I want for my tank. Let me know if they are compatable please. Oh i dont know what kind they are sorry, but here are the descriptions.
the bright yellow ones
the ones with the dark blue body and bright yellow fins.
green terror
peacock
firemouth
Jack dempsey
and maybe a few other colorful ones

Can i mix these? How many of each will go in my 90?

thanks ahead of time!

P.S.
Will any of these eat feeders?

Well, I'm not sure about the bright yellow one, or the blue one with the yellow fins. My guess is that they're Africans of some sort, as is the Peacock. Not a great match with the GT, the JD, and the FM, as they do best in quite different water conditions from these American cousins. Do yourself a favor, and pick up one of the little intro books to cichlids and African cichlids at your LFS. The three American cichlids would probably be OK with each other in a 90, though things might get a bit tense as they reach full size, and yes, once they get big enough they'll eat feeders, but they don't require them. You can look at them as sort of an occasional treat. Good luck!

Yes i dont reccommend mixing africans with south/central americans. You should read some books as DHR said, it would be good to become a little more informed about the fish you want to keep.

Dont mix all these fish, as the bright yellow ones and the ones with the dark blue body and bright yellow fins (possibly acei?) and the peacock might not even all get along together, and they are africans.

Stick to one or the other. And do some research first! Hehehe. Theres nothing worse than getting a fish you know abosolutely nothing about and trying to give it what it wants.

I'd go with The Firemouth, Jack Dempsey & Green Terror myself. They're all great fish, you won't be disappointed. Definately 1 of each in that size tank with some Giant Danios and/or silver dollars and 2 filters.

:D

"Or maybe just a rd or midas great fish!"
why won't it quote this???

I would agree, but you'd have to get a RD or a midas from a breeder(jeff rapps) to get a pure one.....most of the ones in a LFS are a cross of both but they are still real bad. Just what your looking for :D

thanks. I think I might go with the JD,FM, and GT. Still have a while for cyclying. I'm using a cascade canister filter. Its rate for 200gallons. Im about to stick a few rainbow perch into the tank to help it cycle (before any one says anything im getting the perch from my private pond) :troll:
