I finally have my RO/DI running, and am about to whip up my first batch of saltwater. Mixing with RC. What is your process for doing this? I plan to mix with a powerhead, and throw in a heater. I will make 12 gallons at a time. Thanks for any input.

Mixing RO with salt mix is just the way you mentioned it, try the seachem reef slat I get very good parameters when I use that salt. Make sure to use a refractometer it is a whole lot better than a hydrometer! Best of luck, oh and dont forget to not use the first 30 gallons or so of your first water comming out of the RO
