When making up solutions in order to calibrate my test kits, can I combine in P,N, and Fe into one batch and obtain the same result as I would if preparing a seperate solution for each? Thanks.

sounds like something that deserves testing, lol.

on a serious note, i don't know how much precip you'd get from mixing p and fe nor whether that'd affect the regents.

using kno3... according to the dosing calculator at james' planted tank...

1 liter of water to be mixed later (your tank)

.1mg of kno3 into 61.29ml (shoot for ~61.25ml) should give you 1ppm for every 1ml you add to your liter

then you use your liter to fill your test tube.

using kh2po4... same calculator...

1 liter of water to be mixed later (your tank)

.1mg kh2po4 into 35ml should give 1.99ppm for every 1ml you add to your liter

then use your liter to fill your test tube.

if you're any good with numbers you can use rex griggs' numbers here... http://www.rexgrigg.com/dosing.htm ... and figure them out for yourself.

if you're not using dry ferts, sorry... i can't help.
