I am having problems with my fish room. I keep it in the basement and it is creating major amounts of moisture. There is always water dripping from the pipes in the ceiling. I was just wondering if any of you guys had this problem also is there anything I can do about it. thanks for the help. In the room there about about (3) 2 1/2G, (2) 5G, (8) 10G, (1) 15G, and (2) 55G.

A dehumidifier would help...You could also use pipe insulation on the pipes and it will cut down on the condensation.
Well, I currently do not have a stand alone fish room in a basement. But it sounds like the typical basement or below grade issue many homeowners experience. Is the room kept much warmer? Does the moisture just collect on the cold water lines? If so, can they be wrapped with insulation?
Maybe a dehumidifier would bring down the moisture level. Check out some of the DIY home improvement sites like TOH, HGTV and others and see what they recommend.

sorry I had to say itYes it is the hottest room in the house i have a lot of discus so i keep them about 86 and then my breeding pairs of angels i keep at about 80 so it is very hot in there.

Think of it as an inverse glass of iced tea or a cold brew, sitting out in the summer time. The moisture in the warm air is collecting on the cooler surfaces.
May be a big job, but seems like you may have to insulate the walls and have a vapor barrier to the cool side. The dehumidifier will help if you have it drain outside that area and not collect in a container that you have to empty.
