I would actually keep your female with everyone else in the tank. Let her have her babies and then place the fry inside of the net. I do not like those nets, they tend to cause the female undue stress and will cause her to abort her fry. Not a pretty scene, having a net littered with dead fish fry.

Will she swim around while she has the fry? and are the fry hard to catch? Id hate hurting them while trying to net 'em up.

no they are not that difficult but it can be a job.i just cought 29 molly fry's on friday and it took me about an hour.just have patients.
