Do shrimp get a bit sluggish after molting? I'm sure one of my blue pearl shrimp molted (the color change is extreme - she went from brownish to the frosty color). She's not moving much though and did not come and eat with the others. I know that lots of critters who molt tend to hide and take it a little easy until their exos are nice and strong, is this the case with mini shrimp too? Thanks!

FYI - just did a 50% water change this afternoon, it's a 20 gallon with only 4 little shrimp (for now) and live plants. Temp - 78.

yup, freshly molted shrimp are soft and shy. Your blue pearl must look awesome :)

pics??? plzzzz!!!

Just took some to share, and added one that I took yesterday. Here she is, before and after...

I'm getting a little worried because she hasn't really moved in a few hours??? Help?? Am I too much of a worry wart? The other 3 shrimp are fine.

Well, she wasn't fine, she died :(

Oh no! So sorry for your loss. Don't give up though. It takes time to get every aspect of the hobby right.
