im interested in begining to sell fish through the internet and local LFS. what is something that will fetch me a good price that i can breed in 30g. cuz id like to get a lil money back out of this hobby so i can afford more fish. any lake is excepted.

Ask your local places what they have a high demand for, pretty simple

Depending on dimensions of that 30, you could do a colony of ps. demasoni, they are a dwarf mbuna and are always in a relatively high demand.

I wish you luck but the truth is after factoring in all the things needed to raise almost anything to a saleable size you don't really make any money.

Yeah...I think on the scale you're talking about it will be something you should do to enjoy it with the added benefit of maybe getting some store credit/bucks when you sell the fry on but not a true profit making activity - i.e. potential nice side effects if you're gonna do it anyway.

Agreed. It's pretty unlikely to make a profit or just break even with this scenario. Therefore, I would go with fish that you enjoy having, not ones that fetch the highest price.
