Money Order Safe?

money orders and checks are the better way to go actually that way you have a reciept and a record of the transaction...that way if anything does go wrong ..you have something to verify that you actually did send the money..dont throw away the reciept and make sure you keep all info ..shouldnt be a problem...i always write the persons name address and what its for on the back of the money order or staple a peice of paper with that info on it ..and teh date ...good luck and congrats on your purchase ..(if its from a private citizen ..do make sure it works and is coming with all the nessesary parts though!)

IMO safer than a personal check. And safer than putting your credit card out on the net.
I use paypal a lot. Is this off ebay?

yes i have to say i agree it is safer than a check...and credit cards ...i agree, i should have put down better than cash ... :thm:

But the seller wants a money order. Its going to be $150USD. Is it safe?
Money orders or cashier's checks are very good, they are essentially "money in the bank". Personal checks are just not as trustworthy, and are getting harder and harder to use because of it.

Be sure you send it securely and not in an envelope that is even remotely see-through, and insure it if this is going by mail. Also hold onto your stub for it until you know the person has the money order.

A MyFi or Tao.

I bought my dad a MyFi for Christmas and he loves it! From looking at XM's site the specs look pretty close on both units but i like the shape and style of the MyFi over the Tao. I just wish Apple and XM would strike a deal for a IPod/XM reciever hybrid, then i'd be in heaven! For now i'm stuck with having 2 seperate devices.
