Moonlight DIY

I picked up all the wood and stains today. I came up with a little bit of a brief sketch of what I think it will turn out to be. Its a mix between yours and the other photos that you showed me.

Hopefully I get to cutting and figuring out how I am going to assemble it tomorrow after work. Pictures of course will accompany any progress.

anybody know how many watts these are? product page doesn't say?

I don't think these lights can grow plants. Am I wrong? My plan is to keep them on when my screw in cfl bulbs are off. Is 24 hours of light bad?

24 hrs of light isn't bad. but i think if you are just wanting moonlights . i would go with a few low power leds. this look way to bright for moonlights IMO

I agree. My bio cube had moonlight LEDs, bright enough to get an idea of what was going on, but not stressful. And very pretty!

Hm...I C. We'll have to see I ordered them already, if they are too bright I hear you can dial down the power to them and they get dimmer? I'll play it by ear I guess.

I didn't get a chance to make any progress, it rained yesterday so I couldn't do any work with the wood. When I get some stuff done Ill be sure to post.
