You know how their are lights for plants for the day, how about moonlights for night? IS their anyway to make them?

Yeah, LEDs. But they can be something of a pain to wire and sorts.

I've seen blue Christmas lights used. But they have to be the L.E.D kind, then you just stick them in your hood.

I got some lunar lights off of ebay...paid more than I could have done with DIY, but not much of a DIY'er. ANyways, they look great!

You can buy small lights to mount on a tank as night lights for reasonable prices. Do a google search, with a little shopping around, you'll find something that suits your preferance... and budget.

Drs. Foster & Smith have small LED units for about 10 bucks each that you place every 2 feet in your hood.
