I`ve just reworked one of my tanks and added 6 Aulonocara Maleri to my 55 gallon tank.Since doing this the Moorii has taken to relentless chasing of the Aulonocara.He chases to the point that the Peacocks never get a minutes rest.Should I remove the Moori from the tank?

Well, is there any damage on the body, fins? are they eating? IS the morrii afavorite? do you ahve other tanks that the morrii could go to?
How long has it been since you reworked the tank and added new fish? If it hasnt been long then the moori is probably just reestablishing his dominance and will stop chasing the peacocks when he feels like evryone knows their place in the pecking order. I also agree with the above post. If fins are not frayed and the fish arent bitten up then it should be ok.
