mopani wood?

How are you going to prepare this piece of wood?

i let the pieces sit in a bucket for a week doing water changes twice a day

Mopani wood is awesome.

If you want to limit the effect on the color of your water, I would suggest boiling for an hour at least once.

As others have said, it's not a big deal if it does change the water color - just preference for you and some fish.

I have two large pieces in my 92 gal corner fish love it it really adds to the tank

i put the pieces in the tank and it looks awsome. the fish already dug out the sand under the big piece. cool tunnel will post pics when i get a chance.
