Moray not eating

Thanks for the help. They were keeping the eel in a freshwater tank. He has been in my tank for about 2 weeks. He has been fine untill the last 2 days. I've done all I can do. Just have to see if he comes out of it. But I don't think he will. Guess I will just stick to fish. I have been able to keep those stupid things alive.

I wouldn't recommend giving up on eels. I think they are one of the most amazing critters. There are some much hardier freshwater eels like Fires, Tiretracks, Zizags, Yellowtails, among some others. Your eels looks to be good size. Is that a 55G or something to the like. He looks to be 18-24". Try some of those foods and see if it helps him any. Unfortunatly the view doesn't help much but he doesn't look too skinny. He looks about medium build, not skinny but not fat. Anyway like I said earlier hope both eels make it.
 
Might try some eels agin some day. I have a 50 Gal. tank. The eel was almost 2 feet long. Sadlly he died this morning. I have had a hard time finding info on eels. The olny help I could really find was here. I appreciate the help! Thank you.
