HAd one of my Angel pairs lay eggs 10 days ago on the filter intake; moved them to a 10 gallon tank with a seasoned sponge filter, got a plethora (fancy word for a Sh*t-load) of wigglers.

Was pruning some plants tonight and the other pair kept attacking me (glad they don't have sharp teeth!). More eggs, about 3-4 days old (wiggling but still attached to plants). These I'm gonna leave in the tank and let the Parents tend to them. They're doing a great job defending the eggs; ant other fishie that even thinks of swimming near is chased away.

I bought these Angels back in July; just got 4 becuase that sounded like a good number. For some good fortune, I got two males and two females-what are the odds of that happening again!

I figure in 2-3 months, the babies in the 10 gallon should be ready to adopt out-anybody want some Marble Angels? 4 already spoken for-my God-Daughter wants them; she's been checking them out every other day!

good news..I have 4 breeding pairs but at the moment have ellected not to raise the fry..I am cleaning out the growout and hope to get some mildX angels soon.

Update:

Went home for at lunch to feed the fry and checked out the latest batch of eggs.

They were off the plant (maybe I can finish my plant pruning tonight without getting nipped!) and some were free swimming.

But not too many swimmers and as I watched, Mom or Dad ate one.

Oh well!

Got home from work and all the babies gone. Mom & Dad back to normal selves.

Was able to prune plants without getting nipped....

Never have shipped before, but got some 13 day old fry in a 10 gallon tank now...

Give me a PM in 2 months or so!
