More bad luck

I agree, very special indeed and am very sorry to hear of your loss.

I used to be a big admirer of Tangs and Angels but the Leopard Wrasses are really something special and a delight to experience. They are hands down, my favorite fish. I have friends in the club with all the various Leopards and they are all just as sweet and personable.

If I had a large enough tank, it would consist of the usual clowns and then a Meleagris, Bipartitus, Ornatus and Geofreoyi Leopards.

The sad thing is that these fish get a bad rap for shipping but it's only because they are shipped like all other fish and should have sand in their bags. They get scared and dive to the bottom of the bag(hitting bottom) and they end up doing damage to their mouths and then don't eat due to the physical damage. I have seen many Leopards in LFS tanks where the damage to the mouth was apparent. A shame.

She was a Macropharyngodon meleagris...not the same a a Bipartitus, but still very special.
