i have a 3ft arcadia luminaire, 2x white 2x blue, i got a 5ft tank, if i build my rock up in the centre under the lights, would the light spread to the whole tank do u recon? wud it be sufficient?have u seen the prices of lighting in the UK!!

daft as it sounds, if i put the light needy in the middle, they wud be ok thou? the sides will be swimming space, so yes it wud only be for my viewing.
no i wanted a fowlr, but on my LR i got mushrooms, and polyps, so to hell with it, i went and got some xenia, leather, and just fish and clean up. i was thinking of putting the structure in the centre anyways, and the sides will be quite bare for easy cleaning purposes..so not much light will be required, and less algea i suppose!!..make sense??.............all this fuss, and its hopefully only guna be temporary, till i sell a few limbs on ebay.
I'm not familiar with the lights you have but you may be fine with the low light stock you mentioned directly under the light in the center.
