More Susceptable to ick

I believe that clowns are very susceptible to ich, but I would have to look to find a site with a list of fish susceptible. I'll be back in ten or so.

No problem. Glad that I could find it again, as I had lost the link to the darn thing for a while!

Yep, Ive always wanted to have clown loaches in one of my tanks, but whenever I see them in my lfs, at least one of them is always infested.

Apparently moving them ( ie disributer>lfs ... lfs>your tank) is enough to trigger it.

There are medicinal remidies for ich, if you want to go down that road, but I suggest just waiting your time, and buying healhty fish from your lfs.

Hope this helps,

A

Unfortunately, there aren't many medicines which take care of ich and not your clown loaches...you have to find catfish-safe ich meds (good for scaleless fishes like loaches) and be willing to pay through the nose for them. (Unless things have changed recently...I haven't seen a price sheet for catfish-safe ich meds in a while now.)
