More tanks of freecycle.

Here's todays finds from freecycle.
A 20g and a 32g.
Someone has cut the surppot braces out of the 32g so i am looking for any ideas on how to fix this?

can you measure the thickness of the glass? i am thinking that the 32g may be a terrarium rather than an aquarium. at any rate, i would only use it as a terrarium now.

I have seen custom tanks with a piece of glass siliconed across the top on the inside.

Good Start on your free tank collection keep it up and one day someone will have to cut you off... I know my wife already cut me off 16 tanks in 2 weeks and 1/2 are 55+ in size.

I was thinking making some glass braces, two the length of the tank (front and back) and three from front to back.

Nice score!
I wouldn't bother with adding a center brace on a 36" tank.
It's not needed and they just get in the way.

I forgot to say that the 32g came with a filter.

Also i've just been out freecycling again and came home with this.

All I got from freecycle was a 20 and a 55. But I'm happy.

I would only use the 32 for a terrarium, or a vivarium depending on how much water you're willing to put in there.
