hello

curious to know if mosquito fish will cohabitate well w/ couple goldfish?

seems been reading the mosquite fish are aggressive

we want to keep the mosqito fish for mosquito control but seems perhaps there are better ways then using the gambusia (goldfish?)

we have 3 small ornamental ponds 35-50gals (?) in our backyard and our primary concern is mosquito control then wanting to add few goldfish and plants.

thanks.

regards

Shouldnt have any trouble out of them.

they shouldn't harm the goldfish, mosquito fish are mainly a threat to others within their size range like tetras and guppies/mollies/platies etc.

i don't know if the mosquito fish will, but goldfish will definitely eat baby snails.

I was once cleaning snail shells out of my pond. I could never figure out how to bodies were completely gone on most of them, though one or two were there. I figured they must be highly dissolvable.
And then my biggest goldfish comes and sucks the snail right out of the shell that I'm lifting up.
