the most abused fish I can think of is the oscar. why just yesterday I met a very sick man at wal-mart who kept his oscar in a tiny 10g tank, and when I said they need a 55g tank, bare minimum, he scoffed at me and said "oh but the
guy at the fish store said it would just grow to the size of the tank" and when he was buying a feeder goldfish nearly the size of his oscar and I told him that goldfish have little value as feeders IMO and that he should feed oscar pellets with an occasional ghost shrimp or freeze-dried krill, he said "whats fun about watching it eat pellets" what a sick bast@rd!!!
