Most active fish

I have 3 zebra danios which are very very active...but I think my 2 glo-fish might have them beat in the hyperactivity category. They just chase each other around the tank all of the time. My seargent major loach is taken to joining in from time to time. THey are very fun to watch.

Glo-fish are zebra danios that have been genetically altered.

First off, your highly menacing rainbow shark is a big baby in a community tank so long as its territories are respected, meaning that you do not have too many bottow dwelling fish. You also should not put two rainbow sharks in the same tank nor should you put a similar looking fish in there either (e.g. red tail shark) as this will lead to a territorial issue and create general havoc.

I also would not put a bunch of tiger barbs in a tank with small zebra danios because the tigers are a semi-aggressive fish and the danios are peaceful. I realize that the danios are active and most likely hard to catch in terms of a tiger barb, but if they did get ahold of one, then all bets are off. Nipping is much more than just an aggression issue, it also leads to stressed out fish and damaged fins can be opened up to secondary problems like infection.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that I think that the glow-fish are zebra danios but that they are made to glow and be red because they are fed a special type of coral or the algea that is found on a coral. I may be wrong since it has been a long time since I have even seen a glow-fish, but I think that was how I was told it works.

I like cories (they aren't the most active, but they're cute and helpful) and black mollies. They don't have to be brackish fish either.

OK offtopic, but yes you are WAY off. but this is WAY intresting:

I really think danios are a tad too hyper for anything less than a 3 foot long tank, and they don't shoal (school) too much either. They like to find their own place and chase eachother around alot....i guess that's kinda like shoaling, but it's just chasing and not peaceful imo
