Most beautiful fish.

I was warned this discussion could get people intensified but i could use you r insight,

In your opinion what is teh most beautful freshwater fish. I am new to the fish world and am going ot be stockingmy first tank in a few weeks, my wifes only stipulation is that the fish be "pretty". Just kinda want to know what to look for at the store.

Ive never seen an ugly angel fish ... :] but they need a 29 gallon +

I will give you what i think are the ten most beautful freshwater fish but really depends on the tank size you have.

1. pearl gouramis 6. Congo's Tetra

2. Butterfly Ram 7. Mango Pleco


3. Male Guppy 8. Zebra Loaches


4. Rosy Barbs 9. Gardner Killifish


5. Emperor Tetra 10. Boeseman's Rainbowfish

German Blue Rams would have to be up there with the best looking freshwater fish i have seen.

Also Angel fish as well as Discus (they will be to hard for you to keep though as your new to the hobby)

If you like almost fluorescent colors I have seen some red devils and some parrot fish that leave me spell bound

You can never go wrong with a german blue ram if you want beautiful!!
