Bofus, my cichlid, is quite friendly. He is always at the front of the tank lookin' around. If we're in the next room he'll sit along the side of the tank and wait for us to come back.
She's quite a pig when the food comes around as well. It's kind of odd, but he doesn't mess with any of the other fish (otto's, SAE's or clown loaches) or the plants. Very mild mannered cichlid.
I still don't know what type or sex it is. We like Bofus though
