most social fish

that's a hard question because so many fish act differently as all have individual personalities...IME, my rams are most social. They come up to the front of the glass when you are near by and it seems like they just want to chat :D

do you mean social as in schooling fish or fish that interact with people?
my oscar is the fish that most interacted with me

I don't know... My furcata is pretty good. I had a goldfish for a day or two a long while ago, and he was quite nice.

My dwarf gourami - Johnboy already recognizes us after only 4-5 days and comes to the front of the tank when we get up in the morning and come home from work. Of course this could be because he knows I will feed him! LOL But i think he is cute and is so far the only fish I have that is personable. (tetras don't give a hoot bout me!)

I found my balloon mollies to be very sociable, when I aquascaped or did water changes they would swarm around my arm and bump into it and even swim through my fingers when i first put my hand in the tank.

They also came to the front of the tank whenever I would go by, I love the lil fellers!
