Well, I put in the third days worth of Protozin last night and have to do it a final time on Sunday. Went into my local fish shop today and was told that I've treated with the correct medication (phew) but that I can start the course again if need be (I had to dilute the medication yesterday with a small water change cos of a nitrite problem). My LFS is great, only a small place but very knowledgeable and spends loads of time explaining things, even trying to put you off a sale sometimes!
Mr Molly seems to have perked up no end today. The mark is still there but fading and his tail isn't as tight (only realised today that he has been clamping his tail). Have put a bit of daphnia in the tank and he gobbled it up before I could get the bag out.
Fingers crossed that he can go back into his regular tank soon. Thanks for all your advice!
