While it is, obviously, beyond cruel to the fish, I must admit to being a bit intrigued by the fact that a 9-volt battery brought the sucker "back to life."
I really could've done without the views of it flopping around with no water and suffering in the soda though.
Now what's really cruel was when i was wandering around wal mart with one of my friends and saw someone (probably a customer) opened up two of the betta cups and poured them both into one cup. Basically, to get the two bettas to fight. It caught my eye when I saw them wigging out on each other and I quickly grabbed the empty cup and seperated the poor fish. Neither were too badly beaten, so it mustn't have happened to long before I got there, but still. The things people do...
